A complete rear garden transformation in Coulsdon: old decking replaced with a large porcelain patio, a covered timber garden room with heaters and lighting, composite cladding and LED step lighting.

What the job involved
We removed the old decking and prepared a solid sub-base before laying a large, light grey porcelain patio across the back of the house, with matching steps down to the lawn. The rendered walls and boundaries were clad in black composite slatted cladding for a smart, low-maintenance finish.
At the end of the patio we built a covered timber garden room with a tiled roof, porcelain floor, roll-down weather screens, wall lights, power points and infrared heaters, so it can be used on cold evenings as well as summer days.
The finished result
LED strip lighting runs under the patio step and along the garden room, so the whole space glows at night. The finished garden is bright, tidy and easy to look after, with room to eat, relax and play.
As with every job, the Portnalls Road project was quoted in writing up front, with no hidden extras, and the clients were kept informed throughout.
